We value your privacy and handle your personal data with care, only for the purposes described below and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect as little data as possible and do not share it with others without a valid reason.

Which data do we process, and why?

Name, address, email address and phone number: to process your reservation, to communicate with you and to reach you in case of emergency. Legal basis: performance of the rental agreement.
Arrival and departure dates, number of guests and any remarks: to plan and prepare your stay. Legal basis: performance of the rental agreement.
Ages of accompanying children: solely to calculate the tourist tax correctly. Legal basis: legal obligation.
Invoice and payment details: to draw up an invoice and process the payment. Legal basis: performance of the agreement and legal (tax) obligation. Payment is made by bank transfer; we do not process any credit or debit card details.
Guestbook message: if you choose to leave a review, we display your name and message on the website. Legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw by contacting us.

How long do we keep your data?

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Invoices and the related records are kept for as long as the law requires (up to ten years, the statutory retention period for accounting documents). Other reservation data is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed.

Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data and do not use it for marketing. We only share it where necessary:

Our hosting provider, which runs our website, database and email and processes your data solely on our behalf (processor).
Booking platforms (such as Airbnb or Booking.com): if you book through such a platform, we exchange the data required for your reservation with that platform. That processing is governed by the platform's own privacy policy.

Cookies

Our website only sets a functional cookie that is required for the booking form to work securely. We do not use tracking, analytics or marketing cookies and do not share any data with advertising networks. No consent banner is therefore needed.

Security

Our traffic is encrypted via an HTTPS certificate and emails from our domain are signed and encrypted. Fonts and other website components are loaded from our own server, so that no data leaks to external parties when you visit.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict processing, to object, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@domainelespins.com. We do not make automated decisions and do not carry out profiling.

Filing a complaint

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: in France the CNIL (cnil.fr) and in the Netherlands the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
